 What is a creative retreat?
Creative retreats are either one day or weekend opportunities to get away and work on your favorite craft, whether it be card-making, scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, clipping coupons, digital albums, or even just reading.
With creative retreats, you will be free to relax and be creative, while enjoying the company of like-minded others. Goody bags and meals are included with registration fees as well as snacks available throughout the day or weekend. No cooking, no cleaning! That's right. This weekend is about YOU!
Additional classes may also be offered during a retreat that are over and above the retreat fee. Details for each event will be listed in each specific invite. One day retreats will be offered at a local location while weekend retreats can be offered locally or at a more remote location.
Each retreat offered will have several payment options to fit your budget; however, final payments will be due no later than 1 month before the start of the event date. For each retreat, you are encouraged to bring your own crafting supplies. Some of the items that will be available for your use are certain current stamp sets with coordinating framelits, acrylic blocks, die cut machine, ink pads/markers. When bringing your own supplies, make sure they are labeled with your name. Most of us that stamp have the same products. There will also be a small adhesive store in case you forget to bring yours or end up needing extra.
And last but not least, retreats can fill up quickly so don't wait too long to RSVP. Stay tuned for an upcoming specific one day retreat. I am currently finalizing the location and once that is established, you will see an invite. Until then, stay crafty my friends :)
