FB Live 5/16/2021 - Hand Penned Photo Cards

Happy Sunday from San Antonio, TX!  In today's FB Live, you will learn how to make your own handmade photo cards using products from the Hand Penned Suite Collection (pages 104-105) in the May 2021 - April 2022 Annual Catalog.  Complete supply list is below.

Ideas for sending a handmade photo cards:  Wedding pictures, new baby, graduation, Christmas cards.  So many possibilities and with all our fabulous designer series papers, so many possibilities with customizing your photo card.  Make sure to watch the video tutorial below (the tutorial starts at 14:28)

In this card, I kept the frame simple.  The DSP is attached to coordinating Misty Moonlight cardstock to give the frame more stability.  Definitely use all purpose glue unless you're feeling lucky with the Seal.  Using all purpose glue will give you a little wiggle room to move and make sure DSP matches up to Cardstock.  Also, you'll want to die cut both at the same time to ensure each piece matches up perfectly.  In this photo card, the mat is attached with mini dimensionals to allow more space for a picture to slide in (so make sure to leave one end open!)

Using dimensionals will help the mat pop up from the card.

For this card, I added a frame from the Contour Dies then used a Stitched Rectangle Die to create a frame.  The frame is attached using dimensionals.

For this card, I added the frame directly to the card base using All Purpose Glue (just around the edges in a U-shape) -- this card is top loading for the picture.  The flower image pops even more with the edges curled up a little.
