Open Crops

What is Open Crop?
Open Crop is an opportunity for you to stop by my craft studio (I live in Northeast San Antonio TX) and craft whatever you would like. The Open Crop is the first Saturday of every month, from 3 pm to 10 pm.

You can make cards, scrapbook or bring any projects and use class supplies while you are here. The atmosphere is very relaxed. You go at your own pace. There is no set class schedule and an opportunity for you to get away and have some "me" time.

This is also an opportunity to come and learn more about Close To My Heart®  Who we are (who I am), play with the products and find out what you like best!  There are absolutely no obligations whatsoever.  Just come and have a good time and leave with a project or two.

Do I have to bring any supplies?
The only items I would suggest you bring is your own adhesive. The Open Crop fee covers the use of class supplies other than adhesive, so just RSVP and/or bring a friend for half price. During the designated time frame(s), you will have use of all the workshop stamps, dies, punches, tools, cardstock paper and designer series paper packs. You will have full use of the trimmer, bone folders, inks, markers, ribbons, stamps, die cutting machine and its accessories.  I do have adhesives for sell (cash & carry).

So, if you are looking to make a few thank you, get well, happy birthday, etc, cards, this event is for you.

Is there a cost?
Yes, but only if you don't come with your own projects/adhesives/etc. It is a flat $10 fee and if you place a minimum $25 order at the Open Crop, you can crop for free.  Bring a friend and they can come for $5.00! If they place a minimum order, they can crop for free as well!  The fee covers any consumables you need to use to make your cards/project(s). If you are a VIP member of mine, you can crop for FREE.

Do I have to stay the entire time?
No. This is a come and go event. Stay however long you want within designated event hours.

Anything Else?
The event dates occur during late lunch/dinner hours so feel free to bring something to eat/snacks and your own beverage of choice.

Also, prior to your arrival, all common class supplies will have been sanitized.  If you need to wash your hands before you start, there is a half-bath located within steps of the crafting area.  Masks are not mandatory but encouraged if you feel more comfortable.  Generally, live attendance to any event in the studio is limited to 3-4 persons at one time.

****The craft studio is smoke-free and pet friendly, although the pets will be put away for the evening.
